The best tips to take care of your skin during summer

Summer is characterized by heat, humidity, sweating and UV damage to the skin, therefore, according to the seasonal characteristics of summer, we recommend the following skin care strategy for you to help you to achieve fresh, blemish-free skin.

 Cleanser

Oily and acne-prone skin is recommended to use a foamy cleanser, containing certain salicylic acid ingredients or acne-inhibiting ingredients foam cleanser, or cleansing soap. Medium-dry skin, on the other hand, can use no stimulating ingredients, with a certain degree of moisturizing strength, medium foamycleanser. Lastly, sensitive, and extremely dry skin is recommended to use less or non foamy cleanser with no mineral oil. It should ideally contain a large amount of hyaluronic acid.

Toner

Normal skin in summer can generally use a toner with mint ingredients. This type of toner can make the skin calm down and feel more refreshing.

Moisturizer

Oily skin using can just use gel or gel-like lotion or cream. This type of skin does not need to use too many heavy-textured products. Other skin type is recommended to apply a gentle, light moisturizer without mineral oil ingredients. If the moisturiser that you are currently using is oily in the summer, you can use a cotton pad to gently press on the skin to remove the excess oil.

Sun protection

You must always have a waterproof and sweatproof sunscreen with SPF30 or above. It is also best to always have a jar of aloe vera gel at home to help hydrate and repair your skin after sun exposure.

Mask

Mask is not recommended to do every day, especially in the summer. 1-2 times a week is recommended for summer. You can choose mask that’s focusing on brightening in the summer. After all, your skin is more prone to dark spot and freckles in the summer. Once dark spot or freckles are formed on the skin, they are stubborn to get rid of. You won’t regret to take some preventive steps!
